Learn how to make Maharashtrian style Bombil Batata Bhaji recipe - a quick and easy dry (suke) bombil preparation from our chef Archana on Ruchkar Mejwani. <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br /> <br />4 tbsp Oil <br />1 Onion, chopped <br />1/2 tsp Turmeric <br />1 tbsp Green Chutney <br />Coriander Leaves <br />1 Potato, chopped <br />7-8 Suke Bombil (Dry Bombay Duck) <br />Salt to taste <br />1 tbsp Mix Masala <br />Water <br /> <br />Method: <br /> <br />- First soak the bombil pieces in water for half an hour. <br />- In a pan heat some oil. <br />- Once the oil is hot add chopped onion. Saute well. <br />- Then add turmeric powder, green chutney paste & coriander leaves. Mix everything well. <br />- Add chopped potatoes, bombil pieces, salt & mix masala. Mix everything well. <br />- Add little water and mix well. <br />- Cover it with a lid and let everything cook for 10 minutes. <br />- Bombil Batata Bhaji is ready to be served!
